the tyrants of the mountainside.

Every cat in the mountains has heard tales of the vicious giants that roam the forests and cliffs. Mothers warn their kits of terrifying, massive cats who stalk the shadows, waiting for any reason to attack. However, these cats are far from mere nursery tales.
Led by the fearsome Great, the Silent Giants have a ironclad hold on the cats of the forest. They often travel in pairs, skulking across the land, taking what they want and using their claws and teeth without reservation. A silver lining, and a promise that keeps the Giants in power is that they use their skills and size to chase off larger predators, as well. The Silent Giants is not just a clever name. All cats who join the ranks of the Giants take a vow of silence. To communicate, they have established an intricate language of whisker twitches, tail movements and ear flicks. |
Great
current leader of the Silent Giants
Not much is known about the menacing leader of the Giants. Legend tells of a cat so huge and so powerful, he, single-pawed, killed a white-tail buck. As proof of this victory, it's said the antlers of said buck sit outside his den to this day.
The giant tom is rarely seen, but on the third moon of every season, he emerges, demanding offerings of prey and other gifts from the cats of the mountain. |
